goldenboy’s latest effort, the acoustic EP “Home Alone Sessions”, was recorded during Covid-19 lockdown in spring 2020. The three songs were recorded on a late Monday night, by Torkel (lead singer/guitarist) practicing his social distancing skills with Jostein (guitarist/producer), who pressed the record-button. Later on, Jostein worked some magic in his studio, while drummer BT came by one night to do his drop-in beats.

The acoustic EP features new versions of three of goldenboy’s tunes written in the last decade. All of them come in a new wrapping and explore a more laid back, acoustic, country influenced approach than what the poppy punkers are known for.

Memories and Lullabies and the Escape were originally written for goldenboy latest full-length album “Lesson 3: Arts and Crafts” (2013), while “Old and Boring”, taken from their 2019 EP “Adult Disoriented Rock is goldenboy’s homage to themselves and their former tour manager Arlan Hamilton,”.

Home Alone Sessions will be released DIY July 10 on all digital streaming services.
