My Name is Dad was written in the middle of the darkest night in January 2022.
My wife and I had just returned from 5 days in the hospital.
Without our 5-day-old son Ole.

This is my ode to him.

My Name is Dad is the 2nd single from, and the reason why we recorded a new full-length.
qualmbum will be released January 19, 2024, and My Name is Dad will be the opening track.

Ole’s big brother, Vetle, is helping me out with the backing vocals and the song was produced by Jostein Steinsland-Hauge in Superlyd studios during the summer of 2023.
